Lu Ming-Te 卢明德 盧明德

Lu Ming-Te was born in 1950, close to Lianchihtan Pond in Kaohsiung. He was previously working as an art professor, the
Dean of the school of art, and also the founder of Graduate Institute of Interdisciplinary Art at Kaohsiung Normal University.
From his early canvas paintings to the proposal of "Mixed Media Art" theory, and the following artistic practices with electric
multimedia, Lu Ming-te is never limited to any single medium, instead he extends his art creating to the fields of installations,
video art, and other multimedia art forms. Accordingly, he occupies a pivotal position of the art education and development
of Taiwan.
